State Charitable Campaign
United Way of Central Oklahoma is proud to partner with the State of Oklahoma as the administrator of the State Charitable Campaign (SCC) to offer an efficient, accountable way for state employees to contribute to charities at the workplace.
Every year, state employees have the opportunity to designate funds to one or more charities at the workplace through the state campaign, governed by a board of directors made up of state employees. Funds designated help support hundreds of charities that have met the criteria as set forth by the state of Oklahoma.
Locally, State personnel contribute more than $500,000 to nonprofit organizations annually.

The SCC is governed by the Oversight Committee for State Employee Charitable Contributions (OCSECC), comprised of state employee appointees, which acts as the campaign’s board of directors approving charities to participate, overseeing campaign procedures, and contracting with a non-profit organization to manage the campaign annually (United Way of Central Oklahoma). The annual State Employee Charitable Campaign (SCC) includes several federations and affiliated partner agencies that must be approved each year in order to participate.
