Community Preparedness

United Way is focused on Community Preparedness so our community is ready to respond to individual and community emergencies.

According to the state’s Office of Emergency Management, since federally declared disasters were first numbered in 1955, Oklahoma ranks fourth in total number and first per capita nationally in disaster declarations. It is not surprising that United Way has been focused on response and recovery since our inception.
