United Way of Central Oklahoma Hosts Day of Action School Supply Drive

Depend and United Way are coming together to promote healthy, active, and independent living throughout an individual’s life, with a focus on volunteering

Each year in June, communities across the nation mobilize to inspire people to take steps to strengthen their communities. United Way’s Day of Action is a day that we ask you to help us put our mission into action by improving the building blocks for a good quality of life.

United Way of Central Oklahoma wants to send kids back to school fully equipped to learn, so this year we’re hosting a School Supply Drive to benefit area school districts including Millwood, Crooked Oak and Putnam City as well as the Juvenile Justice Court.

To participate, drop off school supplies weekdays June 15th-24th between the hours of 8:00 to 4:00 at the United Way of Central Oklahoma (1444 NW 28th Street, OKC). A collection box will also be at the Pacesetter Games on Thursday, June 25th.
