United Way Live Bus Tours Offer Inside View
Partner Agencies invite public for first-hand look of social services programming in our community
OKLAHOMA CITY – United Way of Central Oklahoma offers an inside view of social services provided by its Partner Agencies through United Way Live Bus Tours. The option for a full or express tour introduces the public to the United Way Partner Agencies and the programs funded by United Way contributions in central Oklahoma.
A three-hour full tour is slated for September 23 and two-hour express tours on August 19 and October 24. Companies are also encouraged to contact the United Way of Central Oklahoma office and schedule a bus tour to raise awareness within their organizations of the social services programming funded by United Way as part of their annual United Way of Central Oklahoma’s fundraising campaign.
“We invite the public for an exclusive, first-hand view of the work that is being accomplished through United Way campaign contributions,” said Carl Edwards, United Way’s 2014 Campaign Chair. “It’s an important part of how we inform the public on the positive impact United Way donor contributions are having on the community. The experience of learning how one gift changes lives forever encourages us do more.”
