Hampton Accepted into United Way Executive Leadership Development Program

Debby Hampton of United Way of Central Oklahoma is one of 18 United Way Chief Executive Officers from across the worldwide United Way network accepted into the Executive Leadership Development Program, exclusively for United Way CEOs.

Incorporating top-notch content from leading institutions and designed to empower leaders of the United Way network, this program will build the global leadership needed to achieve long-term community change through the work of United Way.

“I’m honored to have been selected to attend,” said Hampton, president and CEO of United Way of Central Oklahoma. “This program will help me advance the mission of United Way in central Oklahoma as I learn more about myself as a leader and how to build upon United Way’s role within our community.”

This 10-month learning experience will bring Hampton to world-class institutions such Harvard Business School, The Center for Creative Learning and Deloitte University to receive first-hand experience with cutting-edge practices in multidisciplinary, transformational leadership development.

“United Ways understand that building stronger leadership helps create a culture of exceptional performance and passion for our work in education, income and health,” said Joe Haggerty, Chief Operating Officer of United Way Worldwide. “One of the greatest assets of the United Way network is its dedicated staff leaders. Focusing on the development of United Way executives and their ability to work collaboratively is an investment in creating lasting community change around the world.”

Funding for the United Way Executive Leadership Development Program is made possible through the generosity of the Annie E. Casey Foundation. For more information about the program, please reach out to the United Way Worldwide Talent Management team: Talent@UnitedWay.org.
