Community Investment Volunteer
Help determine how United Way dollars are invested! On an annual basis, United Way provides funding to local programs that have proven their effectiveness. Through a process we call Community Investment, donor volunteers lead the review of funding requests, program outcomes, financial data and past performance. The work takes place January through May. Volunteers need to be able to commit to monthly meetings of two or more hours during regular business hours, as well as site visits to three or four local nonprofits.

Applications need to be submitted by Monday, December 17. Acceptance notifications will be sent by Friday, December 21. A maximum number of volunteers can be accepted and we try to balance the number of volunteers from any given company, so the earlier we receive an application, the greater the chance of it being accepted.
Thank you to our 2018 Community Investment Volunteers and the companies who allowed them to donate their time!
