Day of Caring 2022
Day of Caring 2022 just wrapped up and we couldn’t be more happy with the amount of volunteering that took place this fall season. We’re incredibly grateful to all the organizations and companies who took time out of their busy work days to serve our Partner Agencies in various capacities.
430 volunteers from 15 organizations spent a combined 1,200 hours at our Partner Agencies.
A Chance to Change staff wrote notes of encouragement to Sunbeam Family Services teachers.
American Fidelity team members cleaned Skyline’s facility from top to bottom, organized its Style Shop and trimmed the garden.
BancFirst staff made personal phone calls to thank mentors at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oklahoma – OKC.
Canvas Energy staff cleaned brush and stained a fence at Boy Scouts of America – The Last Frontier Council AND helped prepare a cookout for Upward Transitions. A special thank you to FORVIS, who assembled giveaway bags for the cookout.
Grant Thornton team members ensured a successful cookout and games at Daily Living Centers.
Love’s Travel Stops staff beautified the campus of Oklahoma Foundation for the Disabled.
The team at OG&E cleared brush, trimmed trees and put a new coat of paint on The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club of Oklahoma City.
OKC Maps staff cleaned up the trail at Camp Trivera for Girl Scouts – Western Oklahoma.
Olsson staff washed and detailed vehicles for Pivot, Inc.
The team at Echo Global organized Pivot’s clothing closet.
OG&E’s staff also ensured the success of The Salvation Army’s bingo games at the Sequoyah Senior Center.
National Tire Wholesale donated tires and hygiene kits.
Inspire Brands Foundations made blankets at SONIC for Positive Tomorrows children.
Benham, a Haskell company, made 100 snack packs for Boys and Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County.
