Driven to Support the Community.

United Way’s Tocqueville Society is the giving level reserved for our most generous and community-minded contributors. Tocqueville members represent those who are willing to truly invest in the welfare of our community. As our community’s philanthropic leaders, they understand the significant role they fulfill by supporting and caring for our most vulnerable citizens. The task of finding real-world solutions for crippling problems in the community is at the forefront of their minds.

Tocqueville members generously contribute $10,000 or more annually to United Way. These contributions make a lasting impact in the community and those seeking the services of our Partner Agencies. Their gifts will leave an impact on central Oklahomans for generations to come, and for that, we couldn’t be more thankful.

Alexis de Tocqueville, for whom the society is named, famously documented the American public’s unique willingness to work for the public welfare – a tendency to lend faithful support to neighbors and countrymen, especially in times of need.

Step-Up to Tocqueville

Step-Up Program members make a commitment now to reach $10,000 over a period of three years. The giving levels are flexible in year one and two and can be customized based on your preferences. In year three, we ask that you contribute the full $10,000 to help sustain our work. Step-Up Program donors are recognized all three years as members of the Tocqueville Society, invited to exclusive Tocqueville events, and recognized at the $10,000 giving level in the annual Leadership Giving Registry. Download the Tocqueville Step Up Form.
