United WaYouth
The United WaYouth program empowers high school students in the Oklahoma City Public School District to address needs they see among their peers. With support from faculty advisors and United Way staff, leadership students from local high schools meet monthly to discuss issues, plan fundraising events on campus, and allocate funds raised to organizations of their choosing. Students have raised and distributed several thousand dollars each year since the program began.
