  2. Oklahoma County has 1,368 child care facilities with a total capacity of almost 31,000 kids. Average cost to place a child in licensed care is $100 per week.
  3. STARS in Oklahoma is a nationally recognized, three-tiered program assessing the quality of licensed child care. Almost half of all the child care facilities in Oklahoma County only meet the minimum standards for 1 star.
