Strong Families
United Way is focused on Strong Families so that individuals and families have resources to achieve financial stability as well as access to counseling, debt management, education, job training, and housing.
To achieve our goals, United Way provides funding to programs such as credit counseling and budgeting, transitional housing, abuse prevention, literacy and computer training, and other services at outstanding local non-profit organizations. In addition, United Way partners with local providers to offer further resources to families. The Financial Stability Partnership is an example of our work in enhancing low-income families' bottom line.
