Emergency Food and Shelter Program

United Way of Central Oklahoma administers the federal Emergency Food & Shelter Program in our community. Local homeless shelters, food pantries, and other nonprofit or government agencies that provide food and shelter programs may apply annually for funding. In 2008, the program provided more than $400,000 to local providers in Oklahoma, Canadian, McLain and Logan Counties.
