Leadership Giving Association

Leadership Giving is the fastest, most effective way to increase campaign results and provide community recognition for your company and its employees. When a group of caring and strong people come together to rally behind a common goal, great things happen.

United Way of Central Oklahoma's Leadership Giving Association provides the opportunity to participate at several different levels:


Horizon Circle volunteers cook and serve a warm Thanksgiving Meal, one of several volunteer projects members participate in annually.

Your company's commitment to Leadership Giving is an important step in helping shape the future of our community. We encourage you to host Leadership Giving meeting at your company. Invite current and potential Leadership Givers for a special meeting including unique materials.

Implementing an Effective Leadership Giving Campaign:

  • Recruit a Leadership Chairperson.
  • Engage CEO/Executive Management support.
  • Determine who to include and how much to recommend.
  • Personally visit and invite contributors to learn about Leadership Giving.
  • Follow-up with prospects to make sure they have received a pledge card.
  • Thank contributors.
  • Complete Leadership Giving report materials and return to United Way.
