Pacesetter Luncheon

Pacesetter companies are invited to enjoy lunch while they learn and share effective ways to run their pacesetter campaign. (To be considered a Pacesetter, a company must complete their campaign by August 2010 and strive to achieve a 10% increase in giving from the previous year.)

5:30 to 8:30 pm

The Pacesetter Games provide an evening of fun and games for the Pacesetter companies. The games serve as a fun, competitive, and enthusiastic kickoff to the Pacesetter Campaign.

Community Investment Reception
July 8

3:30 to 4:30 pm

The community investment reception is held to thank our community investment volunteers and to announce the 2010/11 funding for our partner agencies.

Campaign Kickoff
September 10
AT&T Bricktown Ballpark
7:30 to 9:00 am

The campaign kickoff is a free community pancake breakfast. Local celebrities flip the pancakes. This event kicks off the annual campaign that benefits local agencies. Approximately 1,000 people attend this event.

Pacesetter Awards Reception 
September 23
United Way
3:30 to 4:30 pm

Pacesetter CEOs and Campaign Coordinators will be treated to desserts while being recognized for their success. The Pacesetter campaign total will be announced and awards presented.

Day of Caring

All Day

Help build a better community by volunteering with your co-workers for Day of Caring. Oklahomans, by nature, want to help those in need. Combine your efforts with hundreds of volunteers across central Oklahoma to see your donations at work. 

Early Bird Celebration

7:30 to 9:00 a.m.

The Early Bird event celebrates the companies who complete their campaign by the Early Bird deadline. The 2010 Loaned Executives are recognized for their contribution to the success of the campaign. The total monies raised to date will be announced.

Volunteer Awards Reception

5:30 to 7:30 pm

The John Rex Community Builder Award, Ray Ackerman Leadership Award and Dick Clements Lifetime Achievement Award recipients will be recognized at a reception to celebrate their success and commitment to our community.

Snowflake Gala

National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum
6:00 to 10:00 pm

The Snowflake Gala is United Way’s annual celebration marking the end of the campaign. The total dollar amount raised during the 2010 campaign will be announced. The evening consists of dinner, award presentations and entertainment.
